Leonardo was educated at the University of Chicago and Harvard University. He has been a lecturer at Harvard’s Center for Public Leadership and taught courses in the co curricular program at the Harvard Kennedy School on effective civic engagement.
He is the co author of a Harvard Guide on effective social engagement and has won three teaching awards, including the prestigious Harvard Club Award for teaching and public service.
He has worked with grassroots community organizations, political organizations and campaigns, and corporations, large and small. The focus of all his work is on mobilizing organizations and communities for positive cultural change that has measurable impacts.
But Leonardo considers his greatest accomplishment to have been raising his wonderful children as a single father and being a loyal and supportive friend to those he loves.
